VDR MX Track
February 17th, 2010
The VDR complex is located in northern Colorado with easy access from I-25. Valley Dirt Riders has been holding races and providing a recreational riding area for over 30 years. VDR holds many events through out the year, including motocross races that are a part of the SRAC (Sports Riders Association of Colorado) motocross championship series.

Thunder Valley MX

Positioned along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Thunder Valley Motocross Park is located in Jefferson County, Colorado on the western edge of the Denver suburb of Lakewood. The track is easily accessible within 15 minutes of downtown Denver, 30 minutes from Denver International Airport and just an hour from several major mountain resorts.

Wild Rat Motocross Track

The track is east of Colorado Springs. Head east on Hwy 24 (Plate Ave). Take Hwy 24 to Hwy 94. Go east on Hwy 94 five miles to the track. Track is located on the north side of the highway enter at the Red Wild Rat Gate (just west of the Aztec gate).

Sweney Cycle Park

The skeleton of this track is your traditional motocross track. Ya know…the fast kind. Buck Creek (a dried-up creek) runs through the track from south to north and this old creek is utilized throughout the track layout. We have incorporated obstacles to slow the track down some and keep it fun and safe for all levels of riders. The land was once used as cattle pasture, but now the cows have moved away and the brap-braps have moved in.
